| Have a good look at each sensor. A common issue is where the paint starts to blister and close the gap around the sensor. This causes the long beeeeeeep as if your right up against something. |

Have a look at the numbers on the old AFM. Is there a number like 5WK97011Z? If there is, I think you'll find VDO/Continental, (same company) are the actual manufacturer of the OE part. |

Solution in my case was to replace the Air Flow Meter. When searching online try looking up the alternative part numbers. If I have the right one from LR Cat:
