Use Premium when I can get it, branded 'ordinary' if not and avoid supermarket (have additive in case I ever do have to fill up with it).

They are expensive cars - lots of gadgets to go wrong and not cheap to fix.

If you can do some or most of your own work, that helps but its never going to be a cheap way of motoring.
