The angled/grooved seating plate is pressed on to the spindle, it needs a puller to get it off. You don't need to remove it to change the angle of the arm though.

Yes, they were standard wheels for that era. The only non factory fitting I can see is the chrome thingy on the lower tailgate in the centre.

They are bolted to a bracket on the inside face of the bumper armature on the offside.... I think it's easier to go in from the top, if you can take the headlight out easily....

Craig... I assume the shafts are the same after 2006? No different between the TDV8, 4.2, 4.4 ? It's just I can get my hands on a cheap low miles o/s shaft off a TDV8....hoping it fits the 4.2 S/C
