Not difficult to remove but fiddly. If you have sidesteps these need to come off first which is easiest done on a ramp.

Kit is the same wires from what I could see. Fitted one a couple of weeks ago. Initially repaired the original but it failed again 6 months later so bit the bullet

First thing to check is its not the harness /wire having broken. This the usual cause of the adaptive damping fault. Was the error open circuit or similar?

I would do the 4 inlet runner tubes/pipes at the same time. Replace with silicon as they will go if not gone already.
I also cleaned the inlet manifold and throttle body as it was caked with grunge ... |
