Weeellllllllllllll
Much swearing later and a bit of an update.
Cleaned connectors on all the plugs and sockets very carefully.
Still no sound  BUT the screen text has turned green ... |

Whats the best way to clean the pins and socket?
Its pretty crowded in there and the socket cannot be di assembled and my fat sausage fingers are not going to fit in there  |

| Found a wet and dirty connector on the top of the TV module. Not sure if that can affect things but will clean anyway |
