After 10 years and 124,000 miles (Pic heavy)

Well 10 years in 21 days time to be exact

For those who never saw the original state of this FFRR it had belonged to a farmer and the interior have more than a whiff of manure, wet dog, horses, and goodness knows what else. The exterior looked like it had been driven through fields and along hedgerows to within an inch of its life.

Here are a fewpictures to give you an idea Shocked

Today however it's a completely different looking vehicle

When I bought it almost 2 years ago I spent a week cleaning the interior, then I took 3 weeks to sort the exterior. Cutting back the lacquer until all the scratches were removed, then polishing and waxing. Last year I gave it a quick wipe over with Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 so I decided that I should put a little more effort into it this year.

On the mechanical side I have renewed all the suspension arms, bushes, drop links calipers, discs, brake pads, flexi and metal brake pipes, suspension level sensors, FSR, poly-v belt tensioner and pulleys, gearbox filter and triple flush, diff and transfer box oil change, 3 oil/filter services in 9,000 miles, wheel bearing, door seal plus plenty more that I can't remember right now. I have to admit it is a well sorted FFRR and the only outstanding jobs that although are not essential but I would like done are the pixels on the radio which are just starting to go wonky and the drivers door arm rest which has the usual droopy look.

I take it that there was a lot of use made of a mop on the paintwork?
Which compound did you use with the mop?
