Just been reading this with interest, good info to remember. Just a thought, has anyone had experience of a product called Superslide, its a graphite based lube used by Piano techs. I recall reading it being used to repair pots on vintage radios. It is painted on and dries, the more coats the less resistance,...

Thanks for the info on this issue. I pulled the potentiometer out yesterday, split it and tweaked the pins/re-melted the soldered joints and rejoined the two halves. High low now working perfectly.

This is definitely a four spanner job though!

Likewise,

If you bring just the potentiometer (2 spanner job to get it out) it'd take about 40mins.

Only I can't for one minute think that it's a part that LR have commissioned specially for the ffrr.. it will be another off the shelf part re boxed with a LR sticker and the decimal point moved in the price Wink Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Certainly looks similar, but the NV225 shift motor potentiometer has a hexagonal recess on its underside to locate and align it

I'm wondering if it wont just fit.. it has the notch, but not the hex bit... but the hex bit looks to be raised so maybe the GM one will just fit Rolling Eyes

I don't think that anyone in the UK is going to answer the question.. as big engined GM 4x4's are like hens teeth over here... at least they sold them as the Holden down under. Best case is someone in the US has a crack at it.. those pots are only $39 new Shocked I bet that a S/H could be had for way less... or better still a duff unit from a garage just to see if it will fit Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
