Constantly dirty windscreen

So I never thought of myself as a tailgater, I don't get close to anyone but for some reason I'm having to use my windscreen washers 8-15 times on my 43 mile commute. I wouldn't normally be bothered, but it seems to be annoying the sales reps and middle management that seem to want to investigate the inside of my boot at 70mph.

Is the steep widescreen just prone to being filthy in winter?

I have never had a car that uses as much screen wash as my FFRR, remember the roads are salted etc this time of year and almost always damp to a degree, cost as much in screen wash as it does fuel almost Big Cry One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

It's how it is with the steep and large windscreens, I had to wash mine every 60s when driving in the gritted slush mix yesterday Thumbs Up

Good fun though Very Happy

I find the reservoir is huge on the FF, I top up every other month if that, my old 330ci BMW needed topping up every week over winter. Tom

I have never got hit with rocks as often as I do with this ffrr. I assume its the ride hight that causes this. -03V td6
