thanks Mike but no rest for me ,wife and dog... we've been walking a great deal because of where we are and the trails around here..

the nav is ten fold better than the FF one....we use the FF one for an overview in north up mode so we can see where we are like on a map and the Chinese nav for directions as its maps are 2018...
ive also angled it towards me so its more clearer to see...

now uf we could get the igo mapping onto the FF hard drive that would be icing on the cake.

its been a while since i posted here so a quick update...the westie has been performing well with no problems so i'm happy chappy..

we drove to bruge last weekend and we covered 465 miles with about an eighth of a tank of fuel left..computer said 33mpg average which aint bad for such a big motor..

How long did it take one way?

Thinking that might be a nice one for us if I can sell it in.

from calais to bruge it took about 70mins but i wasnt taking much notice tbh ,just enjoying the relaxing drive...
we stayed in a premier inn at ashford on friday night so a nice early shuttle in the morning...
theres a massive hypermarket about ten minutes up from bruge that sells everything and a large selection of belgium beers

Nice place to visit Bruge.
It’s a while since my last visit, but we had an overnight there at the end of one of our Grande Tours, before catching the Zebrugge Hull ferry home. It made a nice change from the madness of the M25 and M1. which is always the worst part of our trips.

second time for me Mike..i found a great hotel in the centre with very good parking for the westie....

2 months ago i bought my 'new' to me L405..

after having a TD6, 4.2 SC, 4.4 TDV8 ,this L405 is the best yet..

here are a few pics before my 21'' sparkles went on ,

The silver wheels are a big improvement on the black wheels

In your bottom picture, with that shine on it, she looks amazing! Wishing you many happy miles in her.

405's are becoming a bit of a bargain at the moment, aren't they? A lot of car for the money.

Problem is I'd miss the savage acceleration off the XFR if I got rid of it and the wife says I'm not allowed another Range Rover unless something else goes.
