United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zermatt Silver

All, thanks for the replies

Thankfully the judder turned our to be a misfire due to a split turbo hose (although it felt amazingly like LUC failure cattle grid symptoms as described on here and other forums)

Turbo hoses, autobox fluid, pan and filter replaced (with the correct ZF recommended fluid - the owner at AJR commented on how expensive it is, but said they wouldnt put anything else in) After 90k the fluid was in pretty good condition with little evidence of debris around the magnets or in the pan

A full can of BG244 has now passed through the system and the car is running like a dream again

Following the fluid change transmission noise seems lower (especially when cold) and gear changes seem marginally smoother 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Glad you got it sorted. AJR come good yet again Thumbs Up

Did you have a Megaflush when having the gearbox 'serviced' by AJR (if not, was Megaflush mentioned)?

No, I didnt have a Megaflush, it was not mentioned - per Cam-Tech's recent thread, I would not go down this route (or if I did, it would be a Megaflush followed by new sump/filter - cannnot believe this is being done without changing these components...)

I know there will still be old fluid in the torque converter, but as the old fluid was still in good condition this does not worry me Mr. Green 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

I wouldn't worry about the old fluid too much in the tc. I know it makes up a decent % of the fluid in there but if there is little to no award then that's the big thing.

Glad to hear a local Indy is doing some good without a massive long wait for work to be done.

May have to book my one in if I get sick of fault finding with it Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
