Glow plug test ?

How do I test the glow plug on the fbh. I've taken it out and cleaned it up. Need to check the glow plug tho before it goes back in. Can I do it with a multimeter ?

maybe wire it up to a 12v bat for few seconds to see if it glows..

might be risky but logically would work..

you can check the resistance with a multimeter - cant remember correct range but its very low - something like 0.4 - 0.9 ohms.

As above, the easiest way is to connect it to a battery and see if it glows, should be almost instantaneous.
Just don't hold it in your fingers while you do it. Thumbs Up Very Happy

And either pulse it or take it off after 1 second or it may burn out.
