Land Rover technical bulletin LTB00416v3 covers this fault.

A wiring overlay is available with a modified boot\grommet to prevent the fault reoccurring.

The part number is LR032839

It is recommended that both wires are replaced at the same time

The bulletin lists a totL labour time of 0.2 hours.

Same thing happened again last week and the original wire has snapped at the point it enters the rubber grommet at the top of the strut. Bit the bullet and got a replacement part (LR Part LR032839). Piece of pee to fit and all done in 15 mins. And they have improved the quality of the wire significantly. By the way the kit comes with crimp connectors for joining to the old loom.

Just waiting for the other side to go now! Laughing SDV8 AB MY 2019

anyone know of a module or fuse for the adaptive dynamics in a 2010 RR SC? I eliminated the intermittent fault about 6 months ago by replacing the wires to the shock towers however after 2 weekends of heavy wheeling the dynamics fault is back and is constant. I checked wires and seem okay. any help here is appreciated. BTW this photo is from the 2015 SCARR rally and it was a blast.

just had a look at mine and they have fitted the updated parts to the 2012, the wires coming into the rubber grommets aren't wrapped in tape, they are a thicker rubber cable. so hopefully this won't be a problem Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

What a poor design.
I've just looked at the same area on my jag (which has dynamic ) and its the same?
Come on land rover - sort this out!
My advice to everyone is fix this before it breaks - because it will eventually!
