Has anyone created a drilling template for the rear light placement? I am going to attempt part of my conversion this weekend and I was just thinking of masking up the area one I remove the original brackets, push the light in and where the indents are drill out? But is this the wrong approach?

I also purchased some of those LED interface boxes from ST's so hopefully it is pretty straightforward. Not sure if anyone has attempted a facelift in Australia - hopefully I am the first Very Happy

Yes, thats the right approach sir Thumbs Up you can also scratch/mark the paint slightly with the metal pins Thumbs Up

Thats the same method i used, very simple to do. The old brackets are a pain to remove and i had to drill the old spot welds out to get them to budge.

The interface boxes work well i have them on mine.

Can't wait to see the finished car and your guide too. I put my conversion on hold following gearbox failure. But will be back on the project this summer! Tom
