United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

I run my FF without A/C on most of the time as I don't 'need' the drying effect as 90% of my journeys are long enough to thoroughly warm the engine and interior.

I currently have the middle vent set to between blue and red and both temperature dials set to 20. All vents are open. The system is on fully auto other than the A/C, so maybe semi-auto.

Would having the A/C on make THAT much of a difference? I'm not bothered about fuel costs here, but the comments about the electrics benefitting are of interest. Si. <This is my name.

The RR climate control is best run on full auto and I always have both lights on - seems daft not too. I tell all buyers to do the same.

To test the AC put the middle vents onto full blue setting, ensure AC is on, direct all airflow to the middle vents and turn both temp controls to 16 - it should be icy cold air that comes out the middle vents.....

+1 for running AC on all the time...... Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

I get icy cold air from the centre vents but the car seems warm and I get warm air unless on full blower in the back which makes the centre warm and also where my left knee rests feels warm. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

That means though that your feet get toastie, if I turn mine to auto it blows hot air on my feet, if I then select any of the air direction buttons auto goes off. Am I being a goon? Or should it do that?

Stan put your IID Tool on and go to live values for climate control and look at the condenser temperature , then hit the max cooling button . If you have gas so to speak the temperature will start to drop .
This will rule out or confirm any gassing issues .
Oh and if you do need to re gas put the rear heating on so you get a full charge .
Sorry I keep thinking of stuff to add , because the system is automatic it may not want to cool very much at low winter temperatures so like I said use the max button. 2008 MY Supercharged

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Been finding mine was getting too hot on shorter journeys, was fine on a longer run, blew out the internal temp sensor and it was slightly better but still noticed that the temp was was warm for journeys od 10-15min or less. Figured it took a while for the temp sensor to reach a state where it was reading accurate internal temp rather than the ambient temp the car settled at overnight.

Seems fine on runs of 20 mins plus though Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
