Cooling seats not cooling

A quick question to those in the know.

Our 2007 Vogue SE has front cooling seats option. Both seats blows cold air pretty much straight away from underneath but not the back rests. If I chose the back rests only cooling I can hear a fan but no cold air is coming through. I take it there's a fault as the bottoms of the seats get cold fairly quickly - can anyone please confirm this?

What would be the best way to tackle this in case it is a fault. The car has 6 month warranty from the main dealer, will this be covered?

Sorry for the last question, my warranty booklet is not anywhere near me but I'd like to know the answer.

Thanks.

The bases seem to blow about 3-4x more air than the backrest, so often you won't feel like the backrest is doing anything. The backrest really isn't useful until temps hit 30+ in my opinion.

There are two separate units in the seat... One for the back, one for the base... Taking into account the above, the rear panel comes off the seat and the heater/cooler assembly is easy to look at...

There are air filters for each unit that don't get changed until quite high milage (from memory) so they might be a good place to start (after checking the basics first! Fuses, wiring plugs etc) Thumbs Up

Turned out the heater pad in the driver's seat wasn't working. Getting changed under warranty.
