LED reflector lights

I know someone on the forum has fitted these but I cant find the thread:-

Are they difficult to fit? Do you need extra lengths of wire? Is there a particular route to thread the wiring?

Thanks all. Travelling around in circles again.

Don't waste your money. They are crap . Look good but are very poor quality my first set lasted 4 days before they went faulty &. Stop lamps stayed on with tail light Supplier sent replacements they lasted 8 days. One stopped working other one kept flickering. . Complete waste of money. They ended up in the bin Big Cry

They aren't that crap. Whistle Laughing
I have some fitted and working fine.
I should point out that whatever the seller says they are not a straightforward fit in terms of electrical connections.
I found that to make them work reliably, particularly with the brake lights it was necessary to feed each of the two circuits thro independent relays.
I have a 12 volt supply from the rear fuseboard supplying the contacts on the two relays.
One relay coil is fed from an ignition source so that the leds are on "low" all the time the ignition is on.
The other relay coil is fed from the brake circuit so that the leds go to "high" when the brakes are applied.
You could also chose to have one of the relays controlled via the sidelight circuit.
If you don't feed them independently thro relays the brake light function of the reflectors results in the cars brake lights "locking on" together with the leds when the ignition key is removed.
This fault seems to be something to do with the leds being fed from two 12V sources simultaneously to obtain "high" and "low" as advised by the seller. Might only be peculiar to RR's, I've no idea, but using relays definitely solves the problem.
Whether you like them or not is down to personal choice.
