Cheers nicedayforit, as I said, MOT in 2 weeks, too much of a good thing etc..... Looking on the bright side it has only cost me tyres and servicing this year!! Although £4500 for last years MOT was a tad annoying, compressor was the year before so out of warranty, I love my RR Whistle

If it stays up with no errors and leaks during the mot you will be fine.

Depends how quickly the air leaks out........ 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Errr...
Testing the various suspension joints etc for play requires the car to be put in to off-road height so that it can be jacked up and subsequently removed from the jack.
If the car can't be raised to off-road height it could well be a fail unfortunately. Sad

You did have all the doors closed when you tried to raise it I suppose?

Never done that with mine over the 3 mots I've had done.

Goes on 4 post lift and then they jack the front wheels up on the lift jack.

Rest done in situ. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

That's interesting, they do it everytime I go for an mot.
The problem is getting the car off the lift jack. If you leave it in on-road height and lower the car after jacking the jack can't be lowered sufficiently for the it to clear. Mine got stuck on the jack the first time I took it. Next time they read the instructions that are dispatched when an L322 is logged in on the computer, no problems since.

make sure your doors are well shut, and bonnet and tailgates it could be a leaky 'bag, and its trying to settle/even up and found its bottom on the floor. -if you get it up on MOT mans ramp and he does't mind. (ie after testing, waiting for paperwork. you could paint the airbags seals with fairy liquid soapy water, to see if its an obvious leak. put car in offroad, takes 10mins max. Some people find standing under a two ton lampshade a bit imposing though.

If the system detect the pressure is dropping too quickly (i.e. a leak) it will often shut down (hence the lights going off) it closes valves and contains as much pressure as it can to get you home... Thumbs Up

I certainly would not use the car like it let alone tow with the car! Shocked
