It could also mean your battery is knackered, the one in the remote fob that is. May be worthwhile getting a new fob battery and doing the remote fob pairing sequence again. |

The single is the antenna...try the triple wired connector..the receiver is permanently powered , so the key doesnt need to be in IIRC.

Cheers , tried to remove the 3 wire one but couldn't budge it ....how do they come off ? ....I don't want to snap it , I'm prone to that |

J evro...you just pull it off (there arn't any clips to push in or undo etc but it is very stiff ). If you remove the receiver from the back plate by removing the 2 black plastic hex nuts, then its easier as you can get a good grip of the plug (obviously not the wires) then simply pull / wiggle it straight out. Just done it just now with the ignition key not in.

Okay... Removed the 3 wire 'plug' / followed sequence as above , renewed fob batteries, .... fob still flashing 8 times green for on and 8 times red when I press off...
