i would test to see if its getting fuel first. they have an inline fuel pump which is usually located near the tank (i am talking on most installations i have seen or fitted to td5s or Pumas) not sure where it is on yours, you should here it ticking for the 2mins the pump starts to run. if you can hear it that shows pump is getting power, next i would check its getting fuel to the FBH by removing the feed pipe and checking for output.

Is there any smoke after the 2mins? Cheers

James

Ah I was sitting in the cab or at the front end so didn't listen for any ticking......there was no smoke at all ( I presume you mean from the burner under the battery?)

I'm also informed by the chap at Webasto that my remote as per my previous photo is a T80? Not as I thought a T90/91....

Guys I have read the brochure etc but....I got a new battery fitted to my remote, seems synced, press on and it goes green solid for 3 secs then flashes green every 2 secs, fan under the bonnet trim starts up, hit off and it turns off. T91 remote on a 2010 tdv8 car.

It is 9 degrees here so want heat (red light) not green. Tried the simultaneously pressing both buttons twice in a sec but no light appears to allow me to change it to 'heat' mode not ventilation.

Any ideas?!

A local LR dealer told me today that the FBH does not works unless temperature is below 6 degrees (not 16 as I believed) can anyone confirm this ?

It's a temperamental thing.....

Mine wasn't working and they replaced the whole unit. It would try to fire up but just cycle down after a couple of mins.
When you power it up can you hear a ticking noise from the pump, close to the rear of the car?

If it is a control problem have a search around because I think i remember seeing that it is possible to get the ecu repaired. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
