Hi all, first post on this RR forum. I can get BMW parts at employee cost. Anyone know what model and year BMW transmission filter/gasket/fill plug kit to order? I want to assume from a 2002/3 X5.

Thanks I'll give it a try. I read somewhere that the 5hp24 in the BMW had a different case than the RR(FF) so I wasn't sure if the pan shape could be different. |

The 5HP24 is unique to the L322 and does have a different case however it shares most parts with other versions, the main difference is the output shaft as the L322 has a 2 speed transfer box whereas other BMW/Jaguar versions don't.

Thanks. I use RealOEM too for part numbers. My daughter works for a Mega car dealer. I was surprised that even with her discount the kit was still $100 US and $15/liter for fluid. Are the BCM and PCM swapable?
