What does the TD6 oil filter look like

Have bought bits toget the TD6 oil Change done and the filter is a quite short, paper type filter, is this right guys? Never seen one before but was expecting it to be metal, like on most of my previous cars

Yours, slightly confused...

Sounds right to me.

It is a paper element about the size of a Campbells (now Baxters!) condensed soup tin.

In the engine bay to the right of the engine near the front you will see a black dome with a a big nut on top (36mm)

After draining the oil, place a large rag underneath, then undo this to remove the old filter. Don't forget to change the rubber O ring and rung a sliver of grease around the sealing flange when putting back together for a good seal. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
