Usually that is one of the signs of a failing battery, check you have 12.6 volts with the car switched off and 14.4 volts with engine on and charging.... Pete

Or alternator. Those symptoms are very similar to what happened to me when the alternator failed and began sucking the battery dry of voltage. Alternatively it could also be a dead battery as suggested by Pete. A dead battery is cheaper so check that first. ______________________________

The Alternator on my S/C went last Tuesday and gave exactly the same symptoms.
