Limp mode help please !!!

Hi all, just joined up. My latest RR is a 3.6 tdv8 and I love it, well I did till it started throwing up transmission fault limited gears available, tdc fault, suspension lowering and then going into limp mode.
If I switch and on again all is fine for 10 miles or 200 miles it makes its own mind up.
I have fitted a new battery, and checked the volts when standing and running, both read as they should.
Any ideas ?
Thanks Dave

Sounds like an abs sensor or a height sensor, get the faults read and all will be revealed.... Pete

Abs sensor, that could be a thought as the dealer that sold it to me had just had new discs and pads all round the day before he dropped it off to me.
Could they have damaged one while changing the discs.
Thanks Dave

Hi Stan, I am not sure as the dealer did it when I asked him to look at the faults.
I only had the car for 24 hrs before the faults first showed.
Can I set the stearing now?
Thanks Dave

Make sure you follow the correct battery disconnect procedure, not doing so can be expensive and dangerous...

Info in the wiki, link in Stans post... Pete

Thank you both I will try it tomorrow. Thing is because the fault is very intermittent you can't tell if it's fixed.
It dropped into limp mode once when my wife was on the motorway, scared the sh#t out of her.
Thanks Dave

Quick update, took the car to a local Indy today, he rang me and said the code was pointing to low fuel pressure. He said take it away and use it for a while, he would give me a ring when he has time to look into it more.
I did another alternator test tonight 11.5 volts before starting then 14.5volts running with the lights on.
Is 11.5 volts !!!! The battery was only fitted two weeks back by the dealer I bought it from. It's a make I have not heard of before and only 100amps
Could this be my problem, the way I look at it low fuel pressure would be there all the time not come and go as my faults do.
Any ideas
Thanks Dave

11.5v is discharged and will affect a L322 tdv8.

Put it on a smart charger for at least 8 hours. ______________________________
