Sounds like an abs sensor or a height sensor, get the faults read and all will be revealed.... Pete

Abs sensor, that could be a thought as the dealer that sold it to me had just had new discs and pads all round the day before he dropped it off to me.

can do...leave it disconnected for a few hours then reconnect and turn the steering wheel fully left and then fully right.. ... - .- -.

Stan, will I need to enter a radio code or any thing like that or just disconnect both sides and reconnect a few hrs later.

Make sure you follow the correct battery disconnect procedure, not doing so can be expensive and dangerous...

Thank you both I will try it tomorrow. Thing is because the fault is very intermittent you can't tell if it's fixed.

Quick update, took the car to a local Indy today, he rang me and said the code was pointing to low fuel pressure. He said take it away and use it for a while, he would give me a ring when he has time to look into it more.

11.5v is discharged and will affect a L322 tdv8.
