Will it totally unlock the car if the stupid anti hijack system is working? Only one press of my open button only opens the drivers door.... I have to press it twice to open the whole car |

That might be the problem... if the voltage is down maybe it's not re-writing the key code in the ECU....

Hmmm maybe, not sure the BCM would send signal to doors to lock unlock if that was the case though, anyway i have ordered a new battery coming tomorrow so that will confirm whether or not the battery is at fault here.

They say to leave the engine running because a dodgy battery will go flat in minutes with the door open...

Got that fault permanently on mine and I've swapped to a flip key, infact I'm on my second one... Knowing how fickle FF's are it might be the issue, but might not.... Its so weird that it locks and unlocks the drivers door when i press the sequence in programming, but then will not work afterwards!! could it be a dodgy key chip or something? |

Sorry if this is totally wrong but are you doing just one key or moving on to do a second? John

Try programming the original remote back in, you don't need to replace the transponder, start the sequence with the new key, then try to programme the old one... |
