Normal Height only then red triangle/ Don't exceed 30mph?

Hi, last couple of days, normal height only has been displaying on the dash and the car won't let us change the height settings.

Does anyone know what this indicates please?

Thanks.

Have you got a fault code off it Ryan?

Could be a faulty height sensor, failing pump, sticky valve gear. Or it could just be voltage related. Try a battery reset first, see if that helps.

I doubt it is an airbag gone, when that happened to me I had "suspension fault" show up not normal height only. I would get the faults cleared, and see what else bongs up. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Or maybe problem in towing electrics making the car think a trailer is attached? Only Range Rovers since 1988

Do the later cars have the height lock function? ie have you pressed the centre of the button and locked the system? Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Hi, this issue has progressed. Not had a chance to try your solutions yet but this afternoon the car has lowered to just above the tyre tops, it is bouncing all over the place at 25mph and a red warning triangle advises don't exceed 30mph.

Presuming this will need a recovery truck and some warranty work as opposed to resetting battery etc?

Thoughts welcome.

Thanks.

Thumbs Up

The car having lowered and wallowing about suggests compressor problem or air leaking from somewhere, it is presumably sitting on the bump stops?. I'd proceed to workshop, under own steam if realistic distance, otherwise on truck. Depressing this is happening on a 2012 car. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Time to call LR assist.

Has anyone played with the tracking recently? I had the latest issue with my disco it dropped to the floor and max 30. Turned out to be an incorrectly calibrated steering angle sensor. A garage managed to reset the sensor with the steering at 1/4 past, the car constantly thought it was cornering!! Try the lock to lock steering angle reset. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thanks for the replies.

nmj, it had 4 tyres put on a month ago and the chap said the suspension height moved when he was changing the tyres, but it reset with the normal centre console hutton when I was driving away.

What is the lock to lock steering angle reset (can I try that or do you mean a garage to try it)?

Thumbs Up

"suspension fault".....i had that too on mine, but it would move up and down. Was a hole in the front bag I could hear it on up Height...

Definitely get it done via LR assist. The Dealers will then prioritise it. Thumbs Up the dropping definitely sounds steering angle calibration related to me Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
