I don't recall the specific code but mine gave at least a similar code / message when the radar unit was powered but before the CCF had been fully changed to support ACC. Removing the radar unit's fuse stopped the code being logged so that's easy to test.

Yes, you need to email Pat at Gap Diagnostics and request the extra functions if you haven’t got them. He usually responds very quickly in my experience. He will probably make you aware that you should not modify any of the critical vehicle safety features as the full access gives you the ability to change almost everything in the CCF.

That did the trick,

enabling. "Adaptive speed control indication in instrument cluster"

gave me the lovely flashing light which I guess means I need to go for a drive calibrate it.

I'll mess around with the other options once its calibrated.

Or will that reset the calibration?

ie enabling the stop/go, Collision mitigation by braking, Forward collision warning. Its actually a sport Sad

I think you will need to set all the settings before trying to use it as the collision mitigation is what it needs to apply the brakes if you catch up another car. I calibrated mine once all settings were made. For some reason, mine wouldn’t accept the collision mitigation Gen 1 option and always defaulted to Gen 2 when I saved the settings but it all works absolutely fine. You will also be able to enable/disable the forward assist warning, if you want it, by using the normal dashboard menu using the right hand steering wheel menu controls.

A bit of an update.

I did try this bracket.

https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/l...nting.html

With some hammering and drilling it was in.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/W8mmdfjAhrumgYC8A

Not perfect by any stretch but it was in.

It never calibrated and eventually I got a Radar Sensor Blocked code.

Am sure I can faff and maneuver to try to make it work, but am just ordering the correct bracket.

But was worth a £30 punt if it had worked. Its actually a sport Sad

Is there a definitive post that outlines what’s needed for this or a case of pulling it together from the previous pages I’m this thread?

Fine either way and if the latter will try to pull a summary together if it doesn’t exist.

Thanks will go through it and work out what’s needed inc parts and IID tool updates and settings.

I’ll try and do a write up and summarise the entire thing too.

ACC control units found on ebay during my search for parts.

I found a seller in the USA that has lots of these Adaptive cruise control units as New/ old stock and seems to have sold quite a few. I have purchased one myself as I with to enable this feature on my 2010 FFRR. The modules seem to be at a very attractive price.

I hope this helps some owners on here. https://www.ebay.com/itm/160834633455

I found a youtube video of an owner in the EU that carried out the retrofit/conversion. You need to enable closed captions to understand what he says though.
It seems that all the wiring is there on some models.

I hope this helps:
