Does anyone know why in some cars stop and go works, and in some don't?
It depends of ABS or PCM module? Different hardware, or firmware? Could be updated?

Going to attempt to install on a 4.4 TDV8. i have the slim radar sensor. just need the bracket and wirign now.

Please could you share the P/N for the radar sensor…. I’m looking for one too. I’m trying to determine if there is compatibility with the RR-Sport or early model L405’s as the device serial numbers are similar but the first few characters are different. The L322 4.4 is BH32-9G768-AD. On the RR-Sport and L405’s the first 4 and last 2 characters are different. I think I read on here that this may refer to the device firmware version. And there’s a procedure for upgrading the firmware with the IID GAP tool.

The wiring loom is quite cheap…. £30 or so as I remember. P/N is LR023028

The bracket is quite expensive…. £200. P/N is LR022947 one of the U.K. LR specialists has them in stock.

Please update as you go though as I’m also considering this and will be interested how you get on. TDV8 4.4 2012

From what I can tell they are using the same ones from the L405

Same part number which is 28085610

But the firmware is different between L322 and L405

I have a feeling the firmware is BH32-9G768-AD

A quick google of 28085610 produces quite a few volvo results as well. So i wonder if its just a matter of flashing

I just need the loom and bracket. I might attempt to use a L405/L494 bracket since they look very similar.

Loom I think is on back order from LR

edit: Oh wow the bracket for the L405 is LR060076 and only 30quid

Defo worth a punt imo

It's

vs

While they defo aint the same bracket, be interesting to see how it lines up, and am sure a few drill holes wouldnt hurt if it needs it Its actually a sport Sad

Not anymore, 4.4 TDV8 now Very Happy

Gap didn't know if they could flash my Jag unit with L322 firmware but their flashing worked. The Jag unit wasn't recognised as existing in my L322 until flashed.

Be careful using brackets from another vehicle as the unit has to aim correctly, although there's a fair range of adjustment in the adjuster screws.

@mgrover how are you getting on ? I’ve just picked up an ACC sensor part no. BH32-9G768-AD with bracket from eBay. I already have the loom and switch gear so I’m all set to start. TBH I’m apprehensive of the adjustment/calibration procedure so any hints and tips would be appreciated. TDV8 4.4 2012

Line it up by sighting as best you can direct ahead and parallel to the ground should be useful initial aim, then later make minor adjustments if required. Mine's calibration occurred after driving between 2 3-metre or so high steel gateposts, after which the engine has to be switched off, and maybe for a number of seconds as I don't recall the specific procedure, then it was working once the engine was restarted.

I installed today with the newer bracket.

I did reuse 1 hole and drill 1 new one into the bracket. Also I cut down the adjustment screw since theres no drilling through the bar.

Enabled the settings in CCF.

I get nothing from the CC buttons atm. But calibration with GAP tool all completed successfully so unsure whats missing. Will be checking fuse next.

Settings I use where

Cruise Control: Adaptive fitted
Cruise Control Display: Adaptive speed control full display plus priority messages
JAG Cruise Control: ACC_QUEUE

Also anyone with 50 million different errors after flashing CCF, you need to recalibrate steering angle sensor.

I might set the JAG CC to just ACC for now.

edit:

It already had the fuse, also tried the above no dice.

The CCM module does have an error about invalid instrument panel controls or something, will need to dig deeper

the switch panel i installed was AH42-13D767-BC Its actually a sport Sad

If you have a look at some of the early pages in this topic the guys who first attempted this put up pictures of all the settings they used to get it working. I think you may be missing some of the settings to do with the collision mitigation and braking.
As far as I am aware, none of us have ever managed to get the queue assist to work successfully so I would leave that disabled.

Mine's queue assist worked when tested a couple of times although I don't use it.

Have you applied to Gap for full CCF access?

By full access,

Do you mean activated the car and linked it to the device?

Or is there another level?

edit:

Either way am updating it now, version is still 4, but am a few builds behind

edit:

exact error code is

U0423-81 - Invalid data received from the instrument panel control module - Bus signal/message failure - invalid serial data received(AB).

Is this because the switch panel I am using is from a 2010 car and mine is 2011, so odds are is needs new firmware possibly?

edit:

ive got same issue as andyducati(which ducati is it Andy am dying to know), will email GAP for the extra settings. Its actually a sport Sad
