On the same theme, My DFP message came up to day as it has done a few times in the past - no problem. But this time my car has gone into limp home mode. Which I don't understand because the warning light is still yellow not red. I though it only went in to limp home mode if the warning light was red??

I am probably tempting fate, because I have never had any DPF warning lights, but I am interested to find out just in case,

I guess so. Anyways it is well and truly non owner "regenerate'able" now. I phoned my local dealer who said "it sounds like a sensor has failed"...mmmmmmmm ![]() They can't look at it until next week ![]() Can't wait to hear what cock a bull story they give me when they hand me the bill. |

Got the yellow DPF warning coming home last night then tonight, on my way literally on the 40mph section of the Westway I got a RED TAKE TO DEALER warning before I got the the 50MPH section of the A40.
