 Hi just need to know if a gasket  sealant is needed on replacing  new Vano cover seals.

| holidaychicken Member Since: 06 Nov 2013 Location: Kent Posts: 1086      | Arr those ones, you don't have to but i would. beisan site says to use sealer on them. i would clean the sealing face as best you can and the outside of the solenoid and apply a thin layer of sealer on the sealing face of the seal and  just around the inside of the bore of the seal, not loads but just enough to give it a bit of help to seal as the sealing face may not be ever so easy to clean and the outside of the solenoid could be a bit rough.
