Been puzzled by this one for a few weeks. But then with my recent flat battery it dawned on me that the FBH ECU turns the FBH off if the voltage drops to 11.4v.

Did you check that your alternator is charging correctly when running? I think its supposed to be around 14.2V. |

Yup, alt' charges fine. The battery voltage drops off quickly though which is generally down to damaged plates.

Odd - My bottle of De-icer and scarf have had no such problems...... have you left the air con on |
