The following are pictures of my genuine Westfalia tongue as supplied with the car. You can see what I meant about cutting a V in the end as the genuine has recess cut in. I dont actually use it as I have a Tregg off road hitch on a Reece tongue

Glenn, chase up Pete (rar110) and have a look at his L322. Peter is in Brissie, too. Ron B. VK2OTC

Thanks all, you've been a great help. I've dug around under the vehicle when I got home tonight and it's definitely a Westfalia towbar - you can see the Westfalia details on some of the photos I've taken that I've shared here:

Get them to move the bar to the right place while they are under there!! Then all you have to do is get the correct wastfalia attachment.

The tow-bar must have been modified to be raised so no longer certified. Get another from a wreckers. |

Glenn as suggested by Ron above, you’re welcome to have a look at mine. I’m in Wynnum. ______________________________

Thanks again all, she's with the mechanic now getting the exhaust fitted so I will see what condition she's in when she comes back.
