Craig, is it possible to change the headlights on 17MY to the optional 18MY laser lights (I know that isn't the proper term but you'll know what I mean)? I find the standard ones "a bit lacklustre" (pardon the pun), even compared with my 2012 WM. I'm not concerned with appearance, just function, so if anyone has the laser lights it would be interesting also to know whether they are noticeably better.

I would not want the expense of changing lots of surrounding parts.

Sorry sir, the only way would be to change everything as the 18my lights are a completely different size & shape to the 17my... Therefore the bumper would not fit around the lights nor would the front grille...

I will be DrF yes sir...

Im hoping to get the new bonnet back from paint tomorrow Question Question Question

Been out for a run around in the car when it got dark this evening to check the headlights and much to my surprise the AFS system functions on the new Pixel Plus Laser lamps Thumbs Up

So, hopefully, new bonnet and washer jet covers fitted tomorrow... Code the new lights to RHD as they are stuck in LHD today Rolling Eyes and then we should be done with the conversion...

Drive it and test everything over the next few weeks Thumbs Up

I do have to say, the 18my headlights are a big improvement over my old ones... I did think the old lights were rubbish when i first purchased it! Our D4 facelift had better headlamps as a like for like comparison...

No sir... really don’t care for the new seats sir...

The infotainment, now that’s a different matter πŸ‘ but I think I’ll leave that to Matt Stevenson me thinks πŸ™
