For reference, remote park heating IS possible on the 2017 models. It should also be possible on later ones, however when the FFBH changed back to Webasto things may have changed again.

fyi I asked a dealer about retrofitting the HUD to a 2019 L405 and the cost quoted was around £20,000 so it's possible. Just may not be cost effective. |

How much??? Definitely NOT cost effective. Do you mean £2,000? All LR cars from 1984

it was definitely £20k. I took it as they didn't want to do it. Also they quoted £3.5k for the towbar - not the electrical one as they couldn't fit that onto a p400e. |

I idly wondered about retrofitting the HUD on mine as I had it in my RRS. I also had it in my 2015 3 Series Touring and that was streets ahead in terms of functionality and quality of the 2016 JLR HUD system, embarrassingly so in fact. Still, I quite miss it and would find it quite useful to have again. However, 20k? I think not. I'd also struggle with 2k. 2017 Vogue SE

Yikes. That's a lot of work for, er, something that looks very basic.
