Big Cry

LOL, its because the fbh will heat the coolant and then just flow it through the heater matrix so you cant control the temp it will just be watever the burner temp gets too i guess minus whatever is lost between the burner and the heater matrix...

So im wondering if mine is actually working now?? I guess i need to sit in the car and turn it on and physically feel what temp air is being blown,

But i ran it this morning and it burnt for 20 mins and when i got in the cabin the chill was gone but i wouldnt say it waS WARM, Am i expecting too much or should it be Noticeably warm in there? Regards

I don’t want to jinx anything but I think it might be starting to work Very Happy

Only thing I have to figure out now is how warm it should be in the cabin?

The heater is deffo running every time I hit the key fob now. And it runs for 20 mins or so I’ve used it every morning since new battery on Monday and it seems to be feeling warmer in the cabin each time.

This morning in Southampton it was 2 degrees so put the heater on at 7:40.

By 7:55 I got in the car and it wasn’t toasty warm but there was a tiny hint of residual warm air floating around. Regards

It won't be warm after 6 minutes! After 15 minutes you'll get a proper flow of heat - if you are really really brave run it twice Wink Land Rover Addict

Where is the dial set for the centre vents - set in the middle (so you can see blue/red on both sides)? Land Rover Addict

Daz

Looked at the possibility of getting to the changeover valve by removing the pollen filter assmebly and it does look as if the wheel arch liner needs to come out. Can't see the valve assembly i'm afraid to say Cheers

AH was always going to be the way lol,

Anyways i think it might be working lol, i turned it on this morning and after 20 mins sat in the car as i opened the doors the blowers turned off , when i shut the door they started up again and the air was luke warm? Not cool .. but not hot??

Am i expecting too much heat?

Also im guessing as soon as ive opened the tailgate and then the door you probably loose loads of heat instantly?

Peoples thoughts? Regards

Get in and out quicker Razz

Sounds as if you're getting there Daz. Mine wasn't as toasty as some say during the coldest days, and I have to admit to not using the car too many early mornings as I don't commute anymore Thumbs Up

Come next winter I'll have to see what the FBH does about early doors heating and maybe run some temp sensors outside and inside. I'll stop there, beginning to sound a bit too Censored retentive Cheers
