United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

I wash mine at least once a season.

It gets detailed in November to protect it a bit from the winter as it doesn’t get touched again until Easter

Maybe a few times over the summer as the front end gets covered in dead insects.

Mines clean on the inside. It’s nice to see a clean sharp FF but as I’ve got old I too can’t be arsed. I have been known just to wash the wheels as the body was clean enough Thumbs Up

Steve.

Washing the wheels is too much - I just wipe the dust of the silver bits of the turbines - you can’t see it on the black anyway - job done Thumbs Up

Wow, what planet are you guys on that can't spend 15 minutes with a bucket and some car shampoo? Owners of older L322 have other things (like maintenance and repairs) to spend our money on 2011 Vogue TDV8 4.4

15 minutes to wash a FF - impossible - it takes me an hour to do it properly when I reluctantly have to - that’s why I hate doing it 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Felstmiester,

If you're off to Halfords probably the best gear they stock is Meguiars. Scratch X20 if you need to get rid of swirly marks prior to polish, then finish with ultimate liquid wax. They also do wheel cleaner, tyre and plastic dressing etc. All pretty good stuff IMHO and maybe a little better than autoglym

45 minutes Thumbs Up

The anticipation got the better of me so I’m looking at a sparkling car now

Rinsed, flies clay barred off, wash, rinse and dry - I even did the black bits on the wheels Cool

Well done...and before the bad for cleaning 30+c tomorrow. A very interesting set of comments on the basis that very few of us would buy a grubby used car yet might be happy to drive around in one !

45 minutes Shocked

If I just fully clean the alloys including inner rims and wash the car without drying it I can't do it in much under 2 hours... Do use the two bucket method though and wary about scratching/ swirling so maybe pfaff too much... They are big beasties to clean... the chap who said he's lost interest when the wash is about done is spot on... Lost interest/ out of time...

Average is a clean every 2 weeks methinks... Pro detail last year has kept the car easier to clean and looking good still... Every week? never seems to be time 👍🏻
