Inactive/active suspension after Battery changes

I just spent two hours with the suspension set ups on Gap and really no further forward. I ended up with all four levels on the bottom and wouldn’t raise , one side , the left side had been an inch lower . That maybe insignificant so took the car out ,( it does say no faults at the moment ) and when I got back the rear is up but not the front , got out shut the door and the rear went up another half inch .
Is there something I’m missing , ha just my head ! !!

Can anyone give me any clues , this all happened when I changed batteries, I am now on a pretty good one at the moment.

To add , with a few more attempts of raising lowering and shutting of doors , the car attempted to raise the front . I have checked all the ride height sensors and all of them are normal , in that no fault codes are there and they all have free movement. So now I have three corners normal and front left down. This has all happened since I changed batteries.

Did you try and set the height whilst it was on nice level ground.
When my set up went all over the place, my tech guy had to find flat ground near my house to set it all.
I was trying to set it up whilst on my drive which has a slight incline which must have thrown the sensor height out. but I just couldn’t get it right (I was using BMW INPA to set it up) on my 2004 TD6.
£50 and 20 mins later he came back and it was all sorted. 2004 Autobiography TD6 Java Black

There is something wrong with the EAS....

I would:

1. Clear all / any faults with iiDTool (and I mean all, not just EAS)
2. Physical check of all four sensors, and airbags
3. Battery disconnection procedure, including touching terminals
4. Reconnect battery, start engine, turn steering lock to lock to clear lights, close all doors, see what happens

5. If no height, check for fault codes again
6. Close inspection of airbags with soapy water, manually lifting each corner

7. Follow calibration procedure in iidTool manual, using the calibration sheet .

Shame there was no direct fault codes then , might have saved time.

However, new air bag ordered from Poland with a guarantee for 2 yrs at £104 !
