If they're sliding calipers on yours rather than Brembos, I'd suggest the inboard / piston side - as that's the side with the lowest weight.

That sounds odd. Do you have a photo of what it is that is on those pads? You have the Brembo big brake kit upfront right with that MY? |

No, the 2010MY 3.6's didn't have 4 or 6 pot Brembo brakes. They were fitted with twin piston sliding calipers.

Yes you are right about that dhallworth. How do you know it is a 3.6? I couldn’t see the model mentioned 🤣 |

His car profile says 2010 TDV8, majority of 2010’s were 3.6’s and the description of the brake pads gave it away. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

Awww yes annoyingly you can’t see those profiles on the mobile version of the website. But yes i normally put the metal parts on the side of the piston for those type of pad. On Audi they help Center and attach the pads. |

For what it’s worth on my RRS, which was a 2013 model, the pads with the lump went on the outside of the disc. |

I have the 2010 3.6 with the sliding TRW calipers. I’m trying to order a set of brake pads and discs for the fronts but without taking the wheel off, I can’t tell if it’s 344mm or 360mm discs. I’ve offered up a tape measure but it’s difficult through the wheel.

If your chassis begins with aa then normal calipers. Most of this year had no Brembo. |
