Good morning everyone, so my second post, whilst I am waiting for the tailgate to arrive for my 2008 3.6 V8 D.

I took the drivers seat out to see if I can find out why the SRS light is on, and also why the drivers seat isn't heating up. I've stripped and cleaned the inside of the seat buckle holder, so hopefully that might sort the SRS light out, (if not I shall order one from eBay.
So on to the heater motor, is there any way of testing the unit, or any spares available, to repair them, or is it simply a new unit?
Another question is there only one in the base, if so how does the seat back heat up?

Good morning Stan, thank you for your reply I've ammended the engine to TDV8.
As for the heater motor picture thank you, so do they work in tandem, or series? I only ask because the previous owner spilt a large Starbucks ove the seat base and since then the heater hasn't worked, so I figured it would only be the base one faulty.
