130 for the BMW engine and 125 for the Jag engine.

Not sure how one goes about removing the limiter, often it's market set on lesser cars, but on the RR i believe it's firmly planted n the ECU.

If it can be done on a BMW car it can be done on my rr tho.

i don't know how its done but on the GC my mechanic went into the 'menu' and just deleted it?

though in truth its a bit academic and lets face it over 100mph gets you in world of hurt if caught Smile

yes - literally a few minutes and at the same time altered the gearbox 'change' points - so that in overdrive it maximised economy whilst without overdrive it maximised performance!

sorry the hark on but this is a cheaper car four years older than my FFRR - so many options available - many user selectable which was why i got a little heated about dealers charging to activate certain options Laughing

i'll speak to him later this afternoon as he needs to fit the new Edelbrock front shock bushes i've just received from the USA - see what he can do on a FFRR

hardly likely to be rocket science as its made in the UK Rolling with laughter

Is it possible to reduce the 100mph threshold? It would be useful when towing to have it come in at m/way speeds. Ian

Doesnt come in at all whilst towing regardless of speed as the suspension gets locked into standard height.

Otherwise it would change the handling of the car/trailer if the height of the tow ball changed.

Firmly locked into the ECU I am afraid. Can be removed though but via a flashing of the ECU, rather than changing an adaptation channel. Used to have:
2005 FFRR 4.4 Vogue - BRC LPG Conversion & Remapped

Now have:
2008 SSRR 3.6 TDV8 - HSE and plenty of toys

Does anyone have any thoughts/experiences of these places that offer to lower the heights of the various levels? It seems like a simple case of moving all the levels down by whatever value is desired? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
