Ben interested as making the key smaller would be great for kayaking - did you get to keep a blade etc ?

Cheers

Yeah the key is stored within the silver section of the key. Works exactly the same as before. Nice little upgrade

That looks smart. My old key was leaking, the indie fixed it. But I would love a smaller key. Is that just a transfer of all the internals and that is all?

A matching paint job for the BBS wheels to my car, and some winter rubber.

Looks pretty sick actually, albeit a lot of rubber.

How are you finding the tyres on these compared to what I assume is the scorpions you run normally?
Anything that pushed you to that tyre specifically? 07 4.2 Supercharged

I haven’t had the time to put them on yet. So I don’t really know.

What made me choose them was their look and availability. I only bought the BBS wheels so I could put them on my car when I’m having my 22” refurbished. But then realised silver would look bad on my car so I had them refurbished. And as they are so much smaller I thought a more AT winter tire bias would be nice on them. I’ve never been a fan on any car of the AT3 on tarmac, I find them scary and not grip enough. So I though I give these Renegade AT5 a go.

I’ll definitely swap over this weekend as I dropped off some winter wheels for painting for my wife’s car (again didn’t like silver on her bmw). And when I pick them up I want to drop off my 22” so they can look nice ready for summer.

Hopefully the weather stay bad as it is so I can give them a food try.

Yep it's a straight swap, only slight mod you need to do is shave the circuit board down 1mm or so using a but of sand paper otherwise it doesn't sit flush in the new case. Very very easy modification and looks a million times better. Well worth doing

That's cool and yeah would be good to know what they are like as and when you get any time on them. I am in no rush to get any all-terrains but want to move to them to have a bit more confidence when I take it off the tarmac Smile 07 4.2 Supercharged

2 new tyres.

I was at Costco yesterday and a very kind gentleman pointed out a nasty bulge, well, more of a ridge running radially from the wheel rim, on my front nearside tyre.

Nowhere local had the right tyres in stock so I drove the 17 miles home very carefully.

Phoned my local garage that I've used for years and it's booked in to have 2 Scorpion Verdes fitted this afternoon.

Dunc. The life you have is the only one you'll get; make the most of it.

Polisher

I treated my car to a Flex forced drive polisher.

I've just bought new sunroof front drain hoses. Question is do I need to remove the headlining to change them?
BTW, I've got an L320 3.6TDV8 HST, can't find a separate section for this, just the L322, or have I missed something (fairly new here)? Mark

Rear brake parts arrived, but as my knee is playing up, all it's had today is lots of penetrating oil on every fastener in sight and a good coat of 'looking at'
