New Rave CD or help required on Handling management fault.

Can anyone guide me to either renewing my Rave CD (I cannot run anymore), or telling me where the abs valve relay is. It keeps coming up as a fault when the system involving abs traction control suspension inactive etc. This occurs when I accelerate at a junction or corner fast enough to trigger all the handling controls . It all clears after an ignition switch on/off. So it triggers in , surely it would cancel and revert back to normal, but it doesn't and sends a fault

There are reports of RAVE no longer working on versions of Windows 10, if that’s what you are using.

Can’t help with other bits, sorry.

Not sure what you mean by the ABS valve relay ?

The pressure sensor is on the ABS modulator in the engine bay, the DSC sensor is under the centre console inside the car.

Fuse F55 covers the ABS ECU
Maxi Fuse MF63 also covers the ABS ECU

no mention of any relay.... .

Correct, RAVE no longer runs on WIN 10 later than 1903. One needs the hacked version that will run with standard versions of Acrobat. Ron B. VK2OTC

That's not correct, you need to change the compatibility mode for the program to run.

Right click on Rave application, click on compatibility tab.
Don't bother running the compatibility trouble shooter, instead select Windows 98/windows Me and click on apply. Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged 2006

That’s great I’ll try that. it just goes no further than Acrobat.
The fault that comes up with Gap is abs valve relay. That’s what I’m going on.

That’s excellent now running. And searching my problem , but no abs relay . Thanks for that clever conversion.

Going back to my original problem, and looking for relays , there is on listed in the abs electrical circuit , but can’t find it on the car . I have also picked out a 5 amp fuse that was in the wrong place so that wouldn’t help . Not sure if the anti lock brakes are working come to think of it, so will test that tomorrow.

I tried this with several of my RAVE discs and none brought up the compatibility tab when I right clicked on RAVE.EXE. Ron B. VK2OTC

I don't run direct from the cd, I copied to my PC and created a shortcut on my desktop. I then applied the compatibility on that shortcut.

Hope that helps. Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged 2006
