Think it’s a quirk of the filler neck, used to do this every fill on the old l322, you are not alone lol. |

Check inside your filler that the yellow miss fuel has not been tripped? It will trip if it has had a fill from a can spout inserted? |

If you pull it out slightly you don't have to turn it so far, there is a sweet spot between insertion length and angle.... (ooh err Mrs..!)

Well, at least I’m not the only one then! I’ve tried the 90 degrees and no result!

watch you don't break your tool, they are brittle.... a long pozi screwdriver works alot better, if you shine a torch down, you'll see if the mechanism has tripped, it's quite obvious when you have light. |

It’s worked well in this house so I’ll see if the luck continues with the car! 😂 2009 (2010 MY) 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography

Yep, had the same with mine, and mine hadn't had the misfuel device tripped. As has said before, I think it's just a quirk of the filler neck not venting as well as it should. Bizarrely, once I'd managed to get the tank half full I could shove it all the way in and it was fine..... Phnar phnar. |

Never had a problem with any of my petrol fueled cars but the Diseasel fueled S max I had was a PITA to fill up. No amount of twisting the nozzle helped! I guess it was due to the tendency for the diesel to "foam" when exiting the pump nozzle. Previous cars:
