Now thats a route I could explore. The dealer is over 100 miles from home but I could certainly engage and see what they say.

I know what you mean with regards to doing the job yourself BUT it may potentially affect any future issues that you may experience. It may be a worth contacting them and suggest that they may like you to use a local independent at their expense rather than them collecting the car, doing the work and returning it etc. BMW i3 Electric Car

If its just the O ring at the rear I'll do it myself, that siad on the L405 it looks like the windscreen wipers have to come off ! There's no easy ish way to see it that's the problem. |
