£451 later Waterpump replaced with OEM one and both front engine belts replaced.

Prised off the N/S/R light unit, drained out a shot glass of water and drilled some small holes in the corners - it's currently sitting in the sun on the patio, hopefully drying out a bit. Also started the process of getting it booked in for a few post-purchase jobs with the dealer I got it from and messaged Dan for prices on a few bits - don't think it's acceptable to have a Range Rover with rusty wheel nuts, is it? Oh, and also contemplating painting the exhaust back box - but the sun is over the yardarm somewhere and I've got a nice bottle of Leffe chilling in the fridge!

Stripped out the rear propshaft. It's now sat on my drive with its arse in the air awaiting parts.

126,000 miles roughly the bearing is rattling and the rubber around the mount had a small tear when removed from the prop.

I took the wife on a visit to Shrewsbury Flower Show.
Brilliant fireworks display in the evening, so stayed overnight in Telford and visited Ironbridge Saturday.




Nice clean DPF now !!!
Now to clean the car. We don't get so many flies in Oldham, must be too cold. G reg 2.5VM Vogue Portofino red 1991- 1999

53 reg td6 Vogue Oslo blue 2006- 2015

Took mine I in for new oil cooler,radiator and gearbox xy switch, hopefully then gearbox will be ok, fingers crossed!!!
Oh and regass the air con whilst there too.

Well bearing for the rear propshaft arrived put it all back together and still have the same noise. Big Cry

At least I no that's good for several miles now. Just keep hunting the noise now.
