Removed as much trim as I could under the bonnet, and set about cleaning with the “Pink Stuff” ( a stardrops apc) ......several damp cloths later and a spray of Autoglym, and I’m delighted.

On to the Wheels today.

In the last 24 hours.

Call at 11am from a lady friend. HELP i've blown a tyre on the M25, can't get the wheel nuts off and don't know what to do...
Drive to her, 88 miles, was on the south coast (Witterings)
Change Wheel, to 50MPH version, get off the motorway. Tell her to unload her car into mine and I will take them to where they need to be and bring them back tomorrow.

So spent the night in Stoke-on-Trent last night in a hotel. Good job I'm a key worker, or whoul dhave been on the street sleeping in the FF.

Having only driven the golf gti for the last 3 months it's like going from a go cart to a cruise liner. Forgot how high it sits & thought the suspension had jacked up.
Other than the brake sensor coming on it wafted along nicely

I used Autoglym leather cleaner followed by Autoglym leather balm, and some good old elbow grease rubbing in and buffing.

I have driven further than for many months to LLanberis, now that we are able to visit North Wales.
My spotless car is no more after some pretty horrid weather this morning. Hoping for a dryer return trip this evening.
