United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue

After a year of ownership, mine went to the Indy for a full service, MOT and ATF change. MOT no issues, the tester said it was a good one, which was good to hear.
In a year of ownership I’ve changed the discs and pads all round and put new callipers on the back and replaced the throttle body hose and that Censored plastic water connector on the other hose and I’ve changed the wheels for 20’s. I also changed the oil and filter after 6 months.
With Covid around, I’ve ended up covering a lot more miles for work than I had anticipated but the car has been faultless and an absolute pleasure to drive.

I lucked out getting a 1 owner, low mileage MY12 which had been looked after; with the state of the market currently, it looks like I might be keeping this one for a while.

For anyone wavering on buying a late L322 do it, I can’t think of anything I’d rather drive at the moment.

Spent 30 mins sorting out the rear left brakes which had started to stick. Hardest bit of the job was getting the (stainless) wheel nuts off. Previously administered by an angr baboon I reckon.

Anyway got them off and the sliders were free and sliding nicely so it was off with the caliper, swap for a new Bearmach one. Quick bleed of the brakes and job done. Thanks for the previous threads on this that made it a breeze.

put the roof bars on last month, and hey, they got used today! went and picked up a king sized £2600 mattress! had to get car out of car park first though, which made it slightly frustrating, as they wouldn't allow me into the goods area, so had to load it on the street etc. I have to drive into car park in access mode to get in... will be taking old one to the tip in the week.

Tried and failed to fit a Thule roof box on to the 'sports bars' that I've got on the P38. The bars are just too deep for the Thule fixing and I don't really want to drill them. Roof box plan abandoned for now.

Got me some Motul time today after the alternator replacement ... 6k engine oil change with tc and rear diff oil change, no drama. Didn't have enough time left for the front diff, that has to wait until tomorrow

Re-dyed and got rid of the creases on drivers seat. Rather easy to do using a heat gun. Also did the centre console cubby lid. It was getting right on my wick with my seats and lid looking like they did. Just the passenger side to do now which isn't that bad.

Before.

After.
