I believe Tom said the gray is hammerite to try and provide some protection.

Intention would be to keep it for a few years and see if it worms it’s way into my heart!

Whilst I’m not looking for immaculate I’m looking for something solid or that can be made solid. This to me doesn’t look dreadful compared to a couple I’ve looked at. My problem is I don’t have a feel for repair costs to get a good job done.

Suppose you could send the pic to a paint shop and get a rough figure?

Plenty of folk have took all the trim off, rear wheel arch liner and rubbed it all down and treated both sides themselves. There might be a write up somewhere.

Think if you had it, from what you said, might be best to get it rubbed down and treated and see how you like the car, though I’m pretty sure you will know whether you like the TD6 after a few good runs or weeks, so might not need to do anything initially…. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

That must be for replacing the panel? Or it seems very expensive.

That or they don’t want the work…

It was indeed both panels. The cheaper of the two is doing a 2011 L322 at the moment, it’s a farmers vehicle and it’s a bit worse than this, but that is also patching an inner arch .

I imagine it’s a few hundred quid to rub it down, treat it and repaint, but of course, theoretically at least, won’t last as long as having the panel replaced.

I may be slightly biased that looks fabulous. Laughing is your old td6 still on the road?

To be honest I’d not seen Aspen coloured seats before.

It is. 197k on it now. I put 19 wheels on it and had to swap side steps when the rusted through….

See your has had side steps at some point, as has the cutout in the front mudflaps.
