No intention of being defensive, just being realistic really.
Having been in that position before, I appreciate it gets difficult when one has an older, cherished vehicle which you have looked after diligently and still looks/performs perfectly, but the chance of getting a decent warranty which is also good value, diminishes with each passing year, in which case one of the above might be an alternative scenario. Unfortunately commercial organisations go on age and mileage when cosidering risk, and not necessarily the care and condition of each individual vehicle, to the detriment of fastidious owners.
Good luck in finding your own solutuion “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
