Nice, about time someone did this as I imagine a lot of cars have been scrapped rather than repair due to the sills rusting.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I’ve dropped them an email asking for photos - will post here if I receive them Thumbs Up

I’m having my 2007 4.2 SC sills / wheel arches sorted by a bodyshop next week (same place as forum member Superspoons) and already have the arch repair panels for them but the sill panels would be a great help assuming they fit well & incorporate the usual rust area around & above the rear jacking point.

That’s excellent news.

Such a shame the L322 has such a weak point….

There is quite a bit of fettling work to do with these. Minor changes is that the cavity wax access points need to be pressed in and then drilled to 20mm, holes need to be drilled for the plug welding where the original was spot welded. but the trickiest area is that these panels do not include the area that covers the jacking point.

I will publish my work on "my range rover" as soon as I get time. but here is a picture of the parts I made to cover the jacking point.

And here is the cavity access point, I was lucky only one was damaged

this is good news, it may now be possible to extend the life of my 2004 V8 Petrol, good news, but seems a fair bit of fettling may be in order to save these cars Big Cry

For anyone considering these panels, Chris said they’re sold on a made to order basis with a four week lead time, so need to factor that into any work being scheduled.

Hi everyone, I'm Chris and after being recommend to join I've popped along to have a look.
Yes, I'm the man behind these panels.
If there are things that need addressing or added to the panels then I'm happy to work with owners. I'd like to make sure these sill panels are the best they can be.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules as I'm not trying to advertise my business nor trying to sell my product.
If anyone has any questions for me or would like to make a suggestion, please feel free.

Thanks
Chris - High Grade Fab
