Ride Height Sensor bracket

I have a fault with my front drivers ride height sensor and ordered a replacement which arrived, but ordered one without the mounting bracket (foolish I know) and the Torx screws are very soft and shredding, so they aren't going anywhere!
So long story short, where can I get the replacement brackets from that is not going to be £236 from a dealer and will the older style fit as they seem to under a tenner each!
Many thanks in advance Confused 2011 L322 Autobography - a lot of bells and some of the whistles...owner with no idea!

Older style bracket should fit. I ended up cutting the old height sensor away so I could grip the bolts and the captive end that was spinning. I then used a normal bolt to attach the new height sensor.

Was a right pain.

Didn’t realise you could get the bracket elsewhere…. I too got a daft price from the dealer for one.

I think there are some non OE height sensors that come with the bracket.

aye was so frustrating that it was such an easy job to get it off and I was screwed by a 79p bolt that shredded!
Good idea on cutting the old sensor apart that may actually be easier than drilling out the bolt heads Razz 2011 L322 Autobography - a lot of bells and some of the whistles...owner with no idea!

I used some hefty wire cutters on the black plastic. Then ended up using pliers on each end. There is a round collar that’s threaded and it just spins in the plastic.

I can’t remember what size the bolt was that I threaded into the new sensor.

As above, there are plenty of non OEM height sensors complete with bracket for peanuts on the net, cheap way of getting a new bracket, then you have a spare sensor for emergency fitting. It seems that the bracket alone from LR is around £50 to 60 Censored

Just looked at my old thread… seems it was £170 odd for the bracket. More than the OE height sensor….

Unfortunately the 2010/2011 has the six pin not three pin sensor, managed to get the sensor pretty cheap £50 but trying to find a seperate bracket was a nightmare for a 6 pin with bracket. Going with the hack and pray method or will buy a cheap 3 pin with bracket and use that as can’t find the bracket alone for under £200 for a piece of bent metal!

Pre 2010 the bracket is less than a tenner!!! 2011 L322 Autobography - a lot of bells and some of the whistles...owner with no idea!

We meant just get a 3 pin non OE just for the bracket…. Assume brackets are the same….. can’t see why not…. Where are the brackets for less than a tenner? Might be useful for future.

I’d hack the old sensor off and use existing bracket.

the old pre 2010 brackets are these https://www.lrparts.net/rqu000200-bracket-...-2009.html

The 2010 onwards are the same for both 3pin and 6pin but are a different part number from the pre 2009 Crying or Very sad
